Metro Mole Control is a locally owned and operated family business. We provide affordable wildlife and nuisance animal control. We are fully licensed and insured. Our service extends to property owners including residential, and commercial businesses, local government, and non-profits. The service area includes the entire Minneapolis-St Paul Metropolitan area and suburbs.
Our specialization is in Moles, Gophers, and Voles. We don’t address in-home pests like insects, termites, and bed bugs. In other words, specialization means we are very good at what we do! We deal with thousands of these pests every year. Understanding their biology and behaviors has allowed us to develop outstanding techniques and approaches. We make sound use of this experience and knowledge when evaluating and working on your property.

Metro Mole was called due to a Gopher problem. 15 Mounds of dirt suddenly appeared. Rick came out and did a quick survey and determined that it was just one Gopher. He set two traps and the next day the Gopher was caught and no more piles of dirt from then on.Metro Mole took care of things so quickly I definitely would recommend them for Gopher or Mole services.

In 2021 I tried to take care of my mole problems unsuccessfully. In 2022 of course the moles returned and ruining my lawn. I googled to find some who could help and came upon metro mole control. Very quickly The traps were set and the mikes were captured. My lawn is now “ mole free.” I would highly recommend metro mole control. They were great to work with. Friendly, professional, effective at a very reasonable cost. My mole problem is history!

When we called Rick he trapped somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 moles within a couple of weeks on our property. Sorry neighbors for the destruction on your property too, it looks as though our lovely mulch job under the pine trees provided a luxuriously comfortable home to the vermin. We give Metro Mole Control a five star rating for effective and professional removal of moles!

Rick came out and assessed my property. He was upfront and straightforward about the moles in my yard. Rick gave honest advice of mole prevention. We agreed on a 4 week plan. Rick came out weekly to remove moles and reset traps in our yard. It was effective and I am very pleased with the results. I would recommend his service to anyone.

I moved to Plymouth in a newly constructed community in 2018. After snow melt early Spring 2020, I was devastated to find my newly sodded lawn riddled with dead patches of grass. I researched online and discovered I had a major voles problem. I evaluated several rodent service providers on Thumbtack and ultimately selected Metro Mole Control for their responsiveness and professionalism. They were extremely knowledgeable in rodent control during my initial consultation. Owner Rick was personable and made me feel I could trust him. I had a question, he had an answer. They were very reasonably priced so I gave them a chance. Within a month, I saw physical evidence of traps working. Can't ask for more than traps working - problem; solution. Metro Mole Control serviced my traps frequently and readjusted traps to keep current with voles movements. I'm very happy with Metro Mole Control and will continue their service in 2021.

I noticed some bumps in my yard and quickly filled an online request form on their website. I received a call from Rick and he was out the same day setting traps. I told him I didn't want to have to see or touch one...I just needed him to handle it and get rid of the little buggers. Well, he did just that. He caught 3 quickly and so far so good! Great customer service and I didn't have to see a thing!!:)

I called Rick last spring when I noticed increased damage to our yard from moles after spring cleanup.Incidentally this had been going on since last summer. We used Natural Lawn of America’s mole program to no avail, but to be fair Rick explained that most prevention methods don’t work when moles are already established in your yard. It’s necessary to get rid of them first. When he inspected our yard in early May, Rick said he didn’t see enough recent activity to warrant the cost and to call him if areas previously damaged “lit up again” by showing new activity. They did by early August, so he came out and trapped 2 moles within 3 weeks. I appreciate his honest assessment last spring and his prompt response when I called back in August. We live on the edge of a heavily wooded area so I expect to see moles again at some point and will definitely call Rick again. Great customer service and value!

We had a serious mole problem last Summer and had no clue where to start. There were mole tunnels all over our yard. We were overwhelmed. We hired Rick and he had our problem fixed in no time. He is prompt, professional, great at communicating/providing updates, and in our opinion, the best. We will continue to hire him each Summer for maintenance purposes because we trust in him and he gets the job done.
