MOLE, GOPHER AND VOLE REMOVAL
For mole, gopher and vole removal, there are many remedies that are ineffective. Common products and strategies that don’t work well include castor oil, propane, mothballs, repellants, chewing gum, ultrasonic devices, pepper, chemicals, flooding, smoke bombs, grub control, carbon monoxide, and poisons. Many of these items are very harmful to children, pets, property, and the environment. Some products may even create an environment that exacerbates the pest problem by allowing them time to become established.
At Metro Mole Control, we believe the most effective way to control moles, gophers, and voles is to physically remove them by trapping. This belief is shared by most experts in the country including university researchers, biologists, and extension specialists. Many types of commercially available traps are ineffective and property owners aren’t sure where to start. As professionals, we know what works! Depending on the situation we will use a variety of above ground and below ground traps to eliminate mole, gopher or vole problems.
Our mole, gopher and vole removal services are more effective, efficient and affordable than a DIY approach. Trapping is environmentally safe as well as family and pet-friendly. The mole and gopher season for Metro Mole Control runs from frost to frost. Our season for voles is year-round. OTHER NUISANCE WILDLIFE REMOVAL
Metro Mole Control specializes in mole, gopher and vole removal. We also offer services to assist with other nuisance wildlife management issues. Wildlife species that cause damage to property may include mice, squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, opossums, skunks, groundhogs (woodchucks), rabbits, coyotes, fox, muskrats and mink.
Our approach to removing these animals from residences or businesses is safe and humane. Metro Mole Control uses live catch traps. Live trapping involves luring animals into a cage. The animals are relocated and released at a remote location. This approach ensures that they will not return to the property.
For information regarding sick or injured wildlife, we recommend that you contact a permitted wildlife rehabilitation center. Please use caution around a sick or injured animal. The Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota (WRC) located in Roseville is a great resource. Please see their FAQ page for more information.
